Thoughtful Teacher Gifts For Under £10

Thoughtful Teacher Gifts For Under £10

Whilst boxes of chocolates and flowers are well-received, they are usually received in abundance. (I have a few Teacher friends who tell me this). Many a time, I was guilty of a mad dash to the shop for a box of chocolates on the way to school on the last day of term, and I’m not saying there is any shame in that, but personally, gifting for gifting sake is not usually my style. Gifting to convey thought and emotion is more my bag. The problem was, the mental energy that took to consider, whilst being a working Mum to two young boys. So, now I'm in the gifting business, this guide is to help take some of that mental energy out of this end of term task, by suggesting and showcasing a few favourites, that will go a long way in showing appreciation for the tireless and challenging job of educating and inspiring our most precious humans.

Personalised Gifts

You may think I’m biased because personalised gifts, is the business I’m in, but I’m in this business because of the thought and effort these gifts convey to the recipient. Can you recall a time when you received a thoughtful or personalised gift? Compared to when you received a generic one? Personalised gifts are always a hit for this reason.

Pep Talk Pebbles gifts are designed and made in-house, so anything can be personalised for you. A few of my top picks for uniqueness and charm are:

Thank you Teacher gift box
This unique, personal and affordable little gift hamper, has been thoughtfully put together to achieve a balance between sincerity, practicality and keepsake (without the clutter). A selection of consumable treats, a cute packet of ‘Thank you for helping me to grow’ sunflower seeds, and a keyring are beautifully presented in this personalised gift box – the header reads “Teachers change the world, one child at a time” and is printed with your personal message. Just lovely, and my favourite of gifts. Shop gift boxes/hampers here.Personalised Pen Pots

These are cuuuuute, practical and personal, could be used at home or in the classroom and could also be used as a little plant pot!) Shop this pen pot (or mug) here.

Mugs
Perhaps a little less unique, is the personalised mug, but still a winner if you love a cuppa. A long lasting gift and you can never have too many! Shop mugs here.

Coasters
Pep Talk Pebbles offer a wide selection of unique coaster designs and to complete the gift experience, they’re beautifully boxed – the extra attention to detail you come to expect from Pep Talk Pebbles, to elevate your gifting game. Shop coasters here.

Gourmet cookies
Not from me, I can’t bake! But The Crumbly Bun offer the most delicious, fancy pants treats that reduce me to crumbs most days! They do treat boxes and special occasion cakes boxes. You can find their impressive bakes here.

Vouchers
Consider a gift voucher, for a local store, small business or coffee shop. One particular teacher friend, received a £10 co-op voucher and immediately bought wine and crisps with it – fair play.

Whatever you decide, the best gifts come from the heart and acknowledge something specific about the person or sentiment you’re trying to convey. There’s ‘thank you’ and then there’s ‘Thank you for…’ So, make it personal with either your gift or your words. Teachers really are special.
